Overview

The Graduate Student Advisory Committee is a collection of representatives from the annual cohorts of the department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology with representatives from the fields of botany, zoology, ecology, marine sciences, evolution and the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Marine Sciences.
The GSAC was established to address the needs of the graduate community and respond with support systems and resources to facilitate the current and future success of graduate students. We also provide opportunities to graduate students in the form of GSA allocated fund disbursement and mini-grants for travel expenses.
Our board of members rotates annually, with members typically serving a two year term. We look forward to the opportunity of helping to support the graduate community and welcome comments, suggestions, workshop suggestions, or event announcements.
