EEMB Graduate Student Symposium: February 3, 2018

The EEMB Graduate Student Symposium provides an opportunity for the entire department to coalesce in support of its graduate student body.

The Primary Aims of the Symposium

  • Facilitate and encourage intellectual discourse and the sharing of ideas among peers and across disciplinary boundaries
  • Improve departmental communication and promote cohesion among the diverse groups and sub-disciplines that together comprise Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology
  • Provide an opportunity for grad students to hone their presentation skills, by formally presenting their work in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment

2018 Keynote Speaker: Geoff Willard - Deputy Director of National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS) and the Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP)
