Community Building Recognition Award: Staff, Faculty, Post-doc, or Researcher 

This award honors a faculty member, post-doctoral scholar, researcher, or staff member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the graduate student community as a whole. The graduate student advisory committee recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting and engaging with the graduate student community, making a meaningful and lasting impact.

Mentorship Recognition Award: Staff, Faculty, Post-doc, or Researcher 

This award honors a faculty member, researcher, post-doctoral scholar, or staff member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the graduate student community. The graduate student advisory committee recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting and mentoring members of the graduate student community, facilitating success of students in graduate school and beyond.

Outstanding Community Leadership Award, Graduate Student:

Awarded to a graduate student who brings people together through thoughtful, inclusive, and well-executed events. Their creativity and dedication to organizing and attending department gatherings strengthens community bonds and fosters a sense of belonging within EEMB.

Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award:

This award recognizes a graduate student who exemplifies excellence in teaching through clarity, enthusiasm, and deep engagement with students. Their commitment to student learning, mentorship, and inclusive pedagogy makes a lasting impact in our undergraduate community.

Excellence in Graduate Mentoring Award:

This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to mentoring others, fostering personal and professional growth, and cultivating a culture of learning and support. Through their guidance, encouragement, and leadership of undergraduates, this mentor has made a lasting impact—empowering students to reach their full potential and shaping the future of our community. This graduate awardee exemplifies dedication to sharing knowledge and investing in others.
